About this format
A 90-minute panel of four practitioners working in sectors where 'we can't afford it' shapes every conversation: housing, climate, public services, and good jobs. The moderator runs three rounds — a sector primer, a constraint-naming round, and an audience Q&A — building toward a shared diagnosis the audience can take into their own work.
Designed for branch meetings, conference fringes, civic forums, and university chapters. Host pack includes moderator notes, a panellist briefing, and a one-page handout for attendees.
Discussion prompts
- Which sector's example landed hardest, and why?
- Where did the panellists agree across sectors? Where did they pull apart?
- What's the one constraint someone in your sector keeps repeating that you'd now push back on?
- What would you ask a fifth panellist if we had one?
