About this format
A 120-minute hands-on workshop. Participants come with three news stories they've seen in the past week — anything about government spending, public debt, taxes, inflation, or 'how do we pay for it'. The host walks the room through a simple reframing toolkit; small groups then work through their own clippings.
Designed for people who keep hearing the same household-budget framing and want a confident response. No prior knowledge needed; the host pack includes a one-page reframing crib sheet and worked examples.
Discussion prompts
- Which headline framing was hardest to reframe? Why?
- Where did 'common sense' actually mislead us?
- What's the conversation you're now confident enough to have?
- What one piece of evidence would change a sceptic's mind?
